Winifred “Winnie” E. Landes, 98, of Logansport, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at McKinney Place in Logansport.
Born on July 21, 1924, in Cutler, Indiana, Winnie is the daughter of the late Bert and Mable (Bordner) Pullen. On August 31, 1944, in Flora, IN, she married Max F. Landes who survives.
Winnie was a former member of the First Brethren Church of Flora and a current member of the River of Life Christian Church of Logansport.
Surviving along with her husband, are two daughters, Toni (Howard) Lhamon of Logansport; Judy (Gene) Humbarger of Delphi; son, Dan (Diane) Landes of Frankfort; one brother, Carol (Jane) Pullen of Cutler;11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Landes; brother, Harold Pullen; and two sisters, Katherine Sparks and Virginia McCracken.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Betsy Arnold and Chaplain Larry Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Lawn Cemetery near Flora, IN.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
