Bobby Lee Hood

Bobby Lee Hood, 81 of Logansport, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, in the Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.

Born December 9, 1940, in Mount Vernon, Kentuckey, he was the son of the late Thurman and Mary (Childers) Hood.

On November 8, 2001, in Logansport, he was married to Nancy Patricia (Bishop) Hood, who survives.

Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War.

Bobby was retired from Waste Management where he had worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. He enjoyed the out-of-doors, especially hunting and fishing.

Surviving with his wife are his children, Josephine (Rick) Stannard, Charles David “Chuck” (Ruth) Hood, Bobby Hood Jr., and Nancy; three siblings, David Hood, Dick Hood, and Ginny Brown; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his stepson, Thomas Langham, two brothers and one sister.

In honoring Bobby’s wishes, no public services will be held. Inurnment will be in the Marion National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Bobby’s memory.
