Glen L. Jarvis

Glen L. Jarvis, 86, of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in his residence, surrounded by his family and his hospice family.

Born on June 22, 1936, in White Salmon, Washington, Glen is the son to the late John Lewis and Bonita (Collins) Jarvis.  On November 2, 1975, Glen married Jane Ann Odom who survives. Glen and Jane re found their love and were married again on February 26, 2013.

Glen worked as a steam plant operator for the Logansport State Hospital and retired in 2012. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the V.F.W. Post #3790, he was also a member of the National Rifle Association.

Surviving along with his wife Jane Ann, is a daughter, Shannon (Kurt) Holcomb of Logansport, two sons, Anthony Glen Jarvis; James Victor Jarvis both of Bonne Terre, MO; grandson, Kyle (Kayla Whitus) Fowler and Kyle’s children Daitonah and Sawyer; granddaughter Danielle (Anthony) Watson; four other grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Patricia Razor and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, two brothers and a brother-in-law, Bob Odom.

A celebration of life with Military Rites will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Chaplain Rick Fay officiating.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service of Wednesday.

Glen’s family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Physio Care Hospice for the wonderful comfort and care they provided.

Memorials in memory of Glen, may be made to the Cass County Animal Hospital.
