Korine Shelby Grauel, 30, Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

On January 24, 1992, in Logansport, she was born to Kevin and Kristen (Iles) Grauel.

Korine had a voice like an angel which she used to glorify God when she was part of the Spa Women’s Ministry in Elkhart. A free-spirit, Korine had a cheerful personality and a kind soul – she never had a bad word to say about anyone.

Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Kristin and Dallas Wilson, Lafayette; her father, Kevin Grauel, Logansport; her step-mother, Karen Grauel, Logansport; her children, Kyrine Michael Grauel and Keegan Faye Grauel; her siblings, Klint (Jamie) Grauel, Kyleigh (Jamie) Baumgart, Michael Wilis, Brady Rhine, Tori Jones, Seth Jones, Cameron (Lexie) Wilson, and Bryce Wilson; her grandparents, Patricia Grauel, Cassandra and William Clark, Faye and George Clark, and Polly and Marvin Grandstaff; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Larry Iles and Ernest Grauel, and great-grandparents, Margaret and Eugene Iles.

Visitation hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 13 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Road, Logansport.

A funeral service celebrating Korine’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 14 in the funeral chapel. Tony Schabel will officiate at the service. 

Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
