Betty J. Gotshall, age 95, Logansport, passed away at 9:57 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2022, in Chase Center.
Born March 23, 1927, in Kewanna, she was the daughter of Cecil and Edith Reed Fred.
On April 6, 1947, in Fulton, she was married to Raymond P. Gotshall, who preceded her in death March 5, 2005.
Betty was retired from Plotner’s Shoe Tree. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Betty enjoyed flowers and her house and loved “Beamer”, her dog.
Surviving are sons, Kenneth L. (Janet) Gotshall, Logansport, Richard ‘Rick’ Gotshall, Logansport and Greg (Joann) Gotshall, South Carolina; sister, Barbara (Jack) Helvie, Logansport.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Todd (Sonya) Gotshall, Rebecca (Sean) DeWitt, Rick (Tracy) Gotshall Jr., Alicia Hanawalt, Nathan (Kristine) Needham, Trent Gotshall, Kyle Clayton, Joel (Sanna) Gotshall, Julie (Andy) Meek, Jessica (Andy) Silverthorn and Ashley (Ryan) Duff; a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Bonnie Frushour, and brothers, Howard Fred and Robert Fred; sisters, Judy Fred and Kate Stainer preceded her in death.
A private family service was held at Kroeger Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Kroeger Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
