Bonnie J. Ohman, 86, Logansport, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born January 10, 1936, in Lake Cicott, Bonnie was the daughter of the lateRoscoe and Frieda B. (Minthorn) Hufford.

Following her 1954 graduation from Royal Center High School, Bonnie went on to graduate from Wedekind’s Beauty College. For over 57 years, Bonnie worked as a hairstylist, owning and operating Bonnie’s Beauty Salon – working alongside her daughter, Chris. Bonnie lived for her “ladies.” She looked forward to doing their hair each week. They were an extension of her own family.

Her absolute pride and joy were her grandsons, Owen and Evan. They came along at the most perfect time and gave her a new zest for life. She enjoyed whatever activity they were involved in and as their Nana, she was their #1 fan. Bonnie enjoyed cooking and her family loved her baked goods. She always enjoyed the canine companions Rick found for her, especially her Golden, Chewbacca, and sweet little beagle, Casey. Bonnie loved the springtime, which heralded the illusive morel mushrooms she loved to hunt.

Surviving is her son, Rick (Sharon) Ohman, Walton, and her daughter, Chris (Todd) Hickey, Logansport; brother, Steve (Suzanne) Hufford; grandsons, Owen Ohman, and Evan (Courtland Cottle) Ohman; and she was looking forward to being Gigi to her first great-grandson, Beaudon Austin Ohman, born just three weeks ago.

A funeral service celebrating Bonnie’s life will be held at Fisher Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Dawn Fisher officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the Fisher Funeral Chapel,
