Dominic Pasquale Rozzi

Dominic Pasquale Rozzi, age 70, died peacefully in his home on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 3:05 a.m.

He was born in Logansport, Indiana on January 12, 1952, to Pasquale Rozzi and Dorthy Krathwohl Rozzi. His mother survives.

He was married May 2, 2009, to Cindy Miles, who survives. 

Dominic served in the United States Marine Corps from January of 1971 until July of 1973.  He retired in 2000 as an assistant chief of the Logansport Fire Department, where he served for 25 years.  He and his best friend, Steve “Slim” Shafer, ran “P & C Construction” for several years.  He went on to work with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and also with the Cass/Pulaski Corrections Department where he was instrumental in the growth and care of the petunias throughout the city of Logansport. 

Surviving, in addition to his mother and his wife, are his sons, Wade (Anita) Ison, Carmel, Scott (Jamison) Rozzi, Zionsville, Brandon Chapman, Clymers, and Derek (Madison) Chapman, Logansport.  His grandchildren include Sophie and Elise Ison, Charlotte, George, and Olive Rozzi, Blake, Camden, Lily Chapman, and Allie and Kelci Robinson, and Natalya and Atlas Chapman. Also, surviving are, sisters, Brenda (Mike) Quaglio, Logansport, and Debra (Keith) Scheffer, Star City; brothers Philip Rozzi, and Bradley S. (Brandi) Rozzi, both of Logansport and a number of loved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022, at Kroeger Funeral Home. Members of the Logansport Fire Department will assemble an honor detail to stand guard during visitation at the casket.  

The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church. Father Gustavo Lopez will be the celebrant.

Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery with full military honors accorded by uniformed members of the United States Marine Corps and the local Cass County Military Detail.
