Faye Etta Martin Abbott Pearson

Faye Etta Martin Abbott Pearson, 96, Washington, Michigan, formerly of Cass County, Indiana, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2022.

Faye Etta was the daughter of late Mace Elmer Martin and Georgia Rose (Peter) Martin, born in Boone Township, Cass County, Indiana on August 2, 1926. Faye was a 1944 graduate of Royal Center High School, a member of Crooked Creek Christian Church, Royal Center, Indiana and founder of Pioneer Pathfinders Camp Club. Faye was a seamstress and farmer’s wife her entire life.

Faye was the widow of W. James Abbott, Royal Center married 29 years, deceased April 1974. Faye was also the widow of second husband, Glen Pearson, Twelve Mile, deceased August 1996, married 21 years.

Also, preceding her in death are four brothers, Ray (Lois) Martin , Bloomington, Indiana, Bill Martin (June) and Virgil Martin of Logansport, Paul (Pat) Martin, Royal Center, and sister Doris (Hoyle) Roberts, Buffalo, Indiana and step-daughter Glenda Shaver, Peru, Indiana and step-son Ron Pearson, Macy, Indiana.

Faye previously lived at Woodbridge Health Campus, Logansport, until 2017, when she moved to Orchard Grove Health Campus in Romeo, Michigan and later to Vista Springs Cove Memory Care, Washington, Michigan.

Faye is survived by her three daughters, Norma (Ted) Speicher, Carol (Frank) Gaumer, Logansport and Janet (Ron) Johnston, Armada, Michigan. Also, one step-son, James (Connie) Pearson, Peru and grandsons, Adam (Kimberly) Speicher, Royal Center, Pete (Florita) Speicher, North Dakota, Jeremy (Cindy) Gaumer, Fort Wayne, Ron Gaumer, Logansport, and step-grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Rans Funeral Home & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago Street, Royal Center with burial following at Kistler Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Crooked Creek Christian Church, Royal Center.
