Mary L. Downham, 81, of Camden, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.
Born on December 8, 1940, in Logansport, Mary is the daughter of the late Francis Gilbert and Lucille (Shaw) Gish. On April 2, 1961, in the Faith Lutheran Church she married Wayne E. Downham who survives.
Mary (& Wayne) owned and operated Downham & Son Shooter Supply for 50 years. She was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church. Mary is in the Indiana Trap Shooter Hall of Fame; she enjoyed spending time and camping with her family.
Surviving Mary, along with her husband, are three sons, Douglass (Donna) Downham; Greg (Becky) Downham of all of Camden; Edward Downham of Bringhurst; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two brothers, James (Phyllis Jane) Gish of Deer Creek; Jerry Gish of Logansport.
Mary was preceded in death by one sister.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Faith Lutheran Church (6765 E. 800 N. Logansport, IN 46947), with Pastor Kristen Schmid officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
Visitation will also be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service on Wednesday, at Faith Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church.
