Richard L. Kurz, 82, of Kewanna passed away at 4:52 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022 at home surrounded
by family.
Born on December 12, 1939 in Muncie, he was the son of the late William and Ruth (Mills) Kurz.
He was a Winamac High School graduate. Richard was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was a retired Aircraft mechanic at the Logansport Airport.
Richard was a life member of the VFW Post 1728 in Winamac. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting
stained glass projects and working in his yard.
Survivors include his wife, Martha (Hubeny) Kurz of Kewanna, sons, Michael Kurz (Misty) of Corydon and
Scott McCord of Georgia, and daughters, Lisa McCord of Seattle and Jane Williamson (John) of Winamac.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by sisters, Marge Hartle and Libby Krohn, grandson, Brent Kurz and
granddaughter, Katelyn Kollmar.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Lake Bruce Community
Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial with Military Rites will be performed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
