Sharan A. Keefer

Sharan A. Keefer, 68, Logansport, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, in the emergency room of Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born September 26, 1954, in the elevator of the Michigan City as her mother was being wheeled to the delivery room, Sharan always joked that she began a life of ups and downs from the very start. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie V. and Patricia J. (King) Hall.

On August 3, 1983, she was married to Kenneth G. Keefer who preceded her in death in 2009.

Sharan worked in the deli at D & R Fruit and Meat Market. She had previously worked at Ponderosa.

Sharan was a member of the Monticello Moose Auxiliary. She was very proud of her bear cookie jar collection – boasting over 100 unique cookie jars – each with a story to tell. Sharan enjoyed embroidery and making blankets.

Surviving are three children: Lonnie (Tina) Keefer. and Jamie (Christopher) Whiteley, all of Logansport, and Patrick (Kimberly) Keefer, Seffner, Florida; three siblings, Robert Lee Finch, Christina Diane Finch, and Donald Wayne Finch; her grandchildren, Kandice (Daykota), Tricia (Michael), Tumekah, Malekhi, Qorianka, Makayla, and Malaymia; and seven great-grandchildren: Roza, Kenneth, Vincent, Jaxxon, Wyatt, Phoenix, and Elisia.

In addition to her husband and parents. she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Joseph Finch.

There will be no public services. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services.
