LOGANSPORT TRASH PICK-UP:
Thursday, November 23 – NO TRASH OR RECYCLE PICK UP
Friday, November 24 – THURSDAY’S TRASH/RECYCLE PICK UP
Saturday, November 25 – FRIDAY’S TRASH/RECYCLE PICK UP
GALVESTON TRASH PICK-UP will be Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023.
WALTON TRASH PICK-UP will be Friday, Nov. 24, 2023. Please set your trash out the night before, or before 6 a.m.
ROYAL CENTER: Trash pickup will be delayed this week due to the holiday. Apex will collect on Saturday, Nov. 25. Leaf pickup will occur on Wednesday this week, instead of the usual Thursday, due to the holiday as well.

GROCERY STORES:
Aldi – closed on Thursday, Nov. 23.
Martin’s Supermarket – open until 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023.
Ruler Foods – closed on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023.
Walmart – closed on Thursday, Nov. 23. Will reopen at 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2023.
Area Five Agency: Closed on Thursday, November 23 & Friday, November 24 in honor of Thanksgiving. Will reopen November 27 at 8 a.m.
Cass Area Transit will be closed on the 23rd & 24th; additionally, there will be no city bus on Saturday November 25, 2023.
Cass County Government Building (courthouse) will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 & Friday, Nov. 24, 2023.
The Downtown Senior Center will be closed on Thursday November 23 and Friday November 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Eel Township Trustee’s Office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 22 – Friday, Nov. 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Galveston Town Hall will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24, 2023.
Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) branches will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 through Saturday, Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.Branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours on Monday, Nov. 27.
Logansport City Building & Logansport Utilities offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24, 2023.
Logansport Memorial Hospital: On Thanksgiving Day, the Main Entrance, the Medical Office Building East Entrance, and the Medical Office Building West Entrance at Logansport Memorial Hospital will be closed in observance of the holiday. Patients and visitors should enter through the Emergency Room Entrance.
On Friday, November 24, the Main Entrance will be open from 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Lobby Lab will be open from 7 a.m. – Noon. Patients will need to register with Main Registration before getting labs done. After 2 pm, patients and visitors should enter through the Emergency Room Entrance.
Valet parking will not be offered Thursday nor Friday.
Walton Town Hall: Closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24.
There will be no mail delivery and post offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23.
EVENTS
The 27th Annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving morning (Nov. 23) at the Cass County YMCA. You may encounter road closures along the route during the event.
The 6th Annual Christmas in the Park Drive-Through hosted by the Logansport Parks and Recreation Foundation Nov. 25 – Jan. 2 at Spencer Park, 3319 High Street in Logansport. Lights on from dusk to dawn. Monday and Tuesday nights are walk-through only – enter from East Broadway / Cass Plaza Road. Free will donations accepted.
The Cass County Carousel will be open both Friday, November 24, and Saturday November 25, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. The Cass County Community Foundation’s “Thanks-for Giving” Grant will provide funds to be used to pay the expenses for the Carousel’s Friday and Saturday opening after the Thanksgiving holiday and will allow all rides to be free. | More info
