Anthony W. Powell, 56 of Logansport, passed away at 11:40 a.m., Monday, December 12, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.
Born on August 4, 1966 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Nellie (Bruce) Powell.
Anthony was a graduate of Logansport High School and also had attended Vincennes University.
He enjoyed playing the saxophone, building model cars, planes and boats. He loved big band music, his favorite being Glen Miller. Anthony also loved dogs.
He attended Wheatland Ave. United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his siblings, James Powell (Cherrie) of Sellersburg, Joyce Likens, Rita Bonnell, Dennis Powell and Thomas Powell (Lisa), all of Logansport. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Amos.
He was also preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Phil Likens and Jerry Bonnell, sister-in-law, Mary Powell and niece, Roseann Powell.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport. Pastor Bert Stover will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
