Christopher LeeRoy “Chris” Wilson, 43, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Born June 13, 1979, in Logansport, he was the son of Everett “JR” Wilson, II, and the late Opal Stotler.

In 1999, his twin sister, Brandy, introduced him to her co-worker, Charity. It was love at first sight. On July 11, 2014, he married the love of his life, and Charity Truman Wilson, who survives.

Chris was a loving husband and father. He worked for Wal-Mart for 17 years where he grew to know a lot of people who became good friends. He spent the past 1-1/2 working for Rural King, where he became family to all who worked there as he developed many great friendships.

In his spare time, Chris loved to hang with his family and friends. He loved to watch sports, especially football. His favorite team was the Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Cubs.

Surviving with his wife, Charity, is one son, Christopher Wilson; his father and stepmother, JR and Debbie Wilson; his twin sister, Brandy (Brian) Legrand; brother Everett III (Amber) Wilson; sister, Candy Sparks; several stepsiblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, three great-nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Stotler.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Chris Wilson will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ryan Lewellen officiating.

Visitation hours will be held from 1 – 4 p.m. prior to the service.
