David A. Pack

David A. Pack, 48, of Peru, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at his home.  He was born October 1, 1974, in Russellville, Arkansas to Brune T. Pack and Darlene (Johnson) Pack – Harness.  He was a 1994 Graduate of Maconaquah High School in Bunker Hill.  He later attended the Kokomo Area Career Center and received his computer drafting certification in 1994.   David was currently employed with Wendt and Sons, Crane and Rigging in Wabash, Indiana as a Shop Supervisor and Head Mechanic.  He was very well respected by all who worked with him.

David enjoyed camping, cookouts and building models.  He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Surviving family include his mother, Darlene Harness of Peru; his siblings, Bobby (Rayna) Pack of Peru; Patty Eilers of Lafayette and Jim Harness of Kokomo.  He is also survived by an uncle, John (Luanne) Johnson of Galveston and aunt, Connie Condley of Arkansas.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews.  David is preceded in death by his father, stepfather, grandparents and brother-in-law, Marty Eilers.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal Street in Peru, Indiana.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.  with pastor Steve Riggins officiating.  David will be laid to rest in Forks of the Creek cemetery in Hector, AR next to his father and grandparents.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
