E. Jeanne Grandstaff

E. Jeanne Grandstaff, 97, Logansport, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 25, 2022, in Millers Merry Manor Logansport.

Born September 26, 1925, in Clay Township, she was the daughter of the late Pliny and Edith (Brown) Oram.

On November 22, 1941, in Logansport, she was married to Charles Grandstaff, who preceded her in death September 15, 1988.

Jeanne was retired from the State Hospital where she had worked in the dietary department. She also sold Tri-Chem paints.

Surviving are her children, Marvin (Polly) Grandstaff, Bill (Marilyn) Grandstaff, Kenny (Connie) Grandstaff; Carole (Jim) Dibble. Mike (Kelly) Grandstaff, and daughter-in-law, Shelley Grandstaff; thirty grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James R. “Jim” Grandstaff; grandchildren, Brett, Terri and Braxton; three brothers, infant Paul Oram, and Harold Oram, and Weldon Oram.

Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 28 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

A funeral service celebrating Jeanne’s life will be held at Fisher Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29 in the funeral chapel with Pastor David Dishon officiating.

Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.
