Jerry L. Maughmer, 69, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2022.
Born in Logansport on July 5, 1953, he was the son of B. Dean and Virginia (Collins) Maughmer.
On July 5, 1986, he was married to Sandra Frey who preceded him in death on February 24, 2020.
Jerry was employed at General Tire and Monon Trailer before retiring from Kauffman Engineering.
He enjoyed hunting, but his lifelong passion was fishing.
Surviving Jerry are two step-sons, Roger (Deb) Spencer and Michael Spencer, all of Logansport; one step-granddaughter, Marla Spencer, Logansport; three brothers, Thomas ‘Tom’ (Nancy) Maughmer, Royal Center, Donald ‘Don’ Maughmer, Warsaw, and William ‘Bill’ (Barb) Maughmer, Pine Village; along with several nieces and cousins.
Along with his parents and wife, Jerry was preceded in death by step-grandson, Roger ‘Trey’ Spencer.
Private family services will be held with a burial at a later date.
