Paul “Jake” Jacob Titus Jr. age 79, of Logansport passed away at his son’s residence on Sunday December 18, 2022.

Born May 7, 1943, in Mansfield, OH to the late Paul Jacob Sr. and Norma Mae (Fry) Titus.

Jake worked for Slussers Green Thumb, Inc. and was a self-employed painter for many years. He enjoyed Harley Davidson, Midget racing, painting, traveling, his dog Dolly and he especially looked forward to watching NASCAR Racing and IU Basketball.

Survivors include one daughter, Tracy (Clay) LaPlante, Kokomo three sons, Anthony “Tony” (Amy) Titus, Logansport; Trent (Bettia) Titus, Twelve Mile; Troy Titus, Logansport; four sisters, Charlotte Walker, Logansport; Cynthia Little, Monticello; Marianne (Terry) Marshall, Monticello; Lori Wooten, Logansport; three brothers, Steve (Karen) Titus, Belleville, OH; Ed (Vickie) Titus, Findley, OH; Norman “Lee” Titus Jr., Lafayette; companion of fifteen years, Linda Hall, Logansport; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one on the way in February.

Paul was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Ocheltree and two brothers, Richard “Dick” Titus and Norman Lee Titus Sr..

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday December 22, 2022, in the Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Steve Frank officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Wednesday December 21, 2022, in the Gundrum Funeral Home
