Ilean Babb, 93, of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in her residence.
Born February 1, 1929, in Cass County, she was the daughter of the late Chester A. and Hazel Naomi (Reames) Babb.
Ilean graduated from Royal Center High School. She retired from General Tire after working there for 33 ½ years.
When Ilean was younger, she enjoyed playing softball. She played on the Logansport girls softball team from 1945 to 1952 playing left field and also third base. Ilean also loved fishing and enjoyed traveling to many different places throughout her lifetime
Surviving are several nieces and nephews and friend, Gloria Johnson.
Ilean was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Babb: one sister, Jane Van Soest, and longtime friend Mary Shackelford.
No services will be held. Burial, in Davis Cemetery, will be private.
