James D. Passereni, Sr., 79 of Logansport, passed away at 8:04 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Woodbridge Health Campus.
Born on October 26, 1943 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Anthony “Dean” and Mary W. (Davis) Passereni.
He was a graduate of Logansport High School, Class of 1961.
On January 23, 1971, he married Cheryl Lynn Moon. She preceded him in death on November 26, 2022.
He formerly worked at Matthew Warren Spring in Logansport for over 40 years.
Jim enjoyed fishing and camping. He was also a former member of the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his children, Missy Sadler (Berney) of Logansport, Jim Passereni Jr.(Kathy) of Salem and Lesia Frazier (Dave) of Logansport, grandchildren, Angela Edwards (AJ) of Kokomo, Eric Brown (Ashley) of Walton, Josh Bohac of Indianapolis, Bethani Sadler of Logansport, Jenna Dunigan (Nick) of Franklin, Bo Sadler of Logansport, Michael Passereni (Rachel) of Brownstown, Bailey Sadler of Logansport and Zoe Sadler of California. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, Mason and Cooper Edwards, Jayla, Adalyn and Leah Brown, Alex Bohac, Gage and Stevie Sadler, Grace Dunigan, Peter and Aria Passereni.
He was also preceded in death by daughter, Angela Passereni.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
