Mary Louise Kesling

Last Updated on January 12, 2023 by Rans Funeral Homes

Mary Louise (Lou) Kesling was the fourth born child of Mary L. (Petrie) Marocco and Floyd L. Marocco. She was born on October 27,1934.

Mary Lou was a lifelong member of All Saints Catholic Church, formerly known as St. Joseph’s. She graduated from St. Joseph‘s Grade School in 1948 and from Logansport High School with the class of 1952.

In 1956, she started a family with her first husband, Robert Wedekind. He was the father of her three daughters – Cynde, Staci, and Shelle.

Her second marriage was to Norman Kesling on August 7,1987. With that marriage she gained stepchildren, a daughter, Beth, and a son, Mark.

Mary Lou and Norman had a wonderful life together. They traveled the world but were also perfectly content to walk the streets in Logansport and the cemeteries in Cass County.

She has been an active volunteer for this community, receiving numerous awards and commendations. Her most important contributions have been praising her Lord and sharing her faith. She would want all to know the free gift of salvation that comes by faith through Christ.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Wedekind, second husband, Norman Kesling, parents, Mary and Floyd Marocco, daughter, Cynthia Barnes, step-son, Mark Kesling, sister, Jude Ann Albright, brothers, Louis John Marocco and John Anthony Marocco.
