Randy A. Reutebuch, 63, Rochester, passed away unexpectedly at his home Dec. 31, 2022.
Born March 4, 1959, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Robert and Thelma Louise (Rylands) Reutebuch.
Following his 1977 graduation from Caston High School, Randy enlisted in the United States Navy He received an Associates of Science degree in CNC Machine Programming from Ivy Tech Community College.
In 2021, Randy retired from Zimmer Biomet where he had worked as a CNC machinist.
Randy loved music. He performed in several area bands, lending his amazing voice as well as his talents on the guitar and keyboard. He also enjoyed going to concerts. Randy’s movie collection was huge, and he was quite the trivia buff when it came to music and film. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing disc golf. Randy was a sports enthusiast and avid fan of the White Sox and Purdue, but the Kansas City Chiefs were his passion. He collected memorabilia, traveled to watch them play and tried to make it to Indy whenever the Chiefs were playing.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Treva Reutebuch, Warsaw; his brothers, Robert “Bob” (Susie) Reutebuch, and Larry (Pam) Reutebuch, all of Logansport; his sister, Nancy (Stan) Bowman, Royal Center; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service celebrating Randy’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 6 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Dawn Fisher officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4 to 6 p.m. in the funeral chapel.
Burial, at a later date, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
