Douglas G Michaels, 81, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at his home.
Born August 11, 1941, in Mattoon, Illinois, he was the son of the late Harry C and Dolores (Storm) Michaels.
On November 22, 1962, in Mattoon, Illinois, he was married to Jacquelyn (Watson) Michaels, who survives.
Following high school, he attended Eastern Illinois University where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
Doug worked as a maintenance manager for Matthew Warren before his retirement.
Surviving with his wife of 60 years, Jackie Michaels, are three children, Anthony Scot Michaels, Kimberly (Wayne) Palmer, and Michelle R (Mark) Mellady; one brother, Kenneth D (Doris) Michaels, and four grandchildren.
