Thomas Wayne Justice, 60 of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at The Waters of Wabash East.

Thomas was born in Miami County, Indiana on September 14, 1962, to Larry D. & Carol J. Burkholder Justice.

He graduated from Lewis Cass High School, Walton, Indiana in 1981, and attended Marian College in Indianapolis.

Thomas enjoyed many things in his younger years. An accomplished musician and singer, he enjoyed participating in high school plays and many band competitions. He played bassoon in concert band and was the band’s drum major for marching competition. He loved to dance and spend time with his family. Tom was baptized, and a huge believer of Christ.

Loving survivors include his mother Carol Justice of Peru, sister Lee Ann Smith and his loving brother-in-law Chris of Roanoke, Indiana, brothers Brian Justice of Peru and Mark Justice of Monticello. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry D. Justice and his grandparents.

Tom’s mother wrote:

“No one knows a child, like their mother. You love them despite all their failures, and cheer for their triumphs. It’s such a deep love. You love them during their highs and their lows. What I knew of Tom you probably never saw. He was a gentle man. Very intelligent and extremely talented. He could run circles around me about the Bible, and he believed. He was so happy with his music. His love for music started at five years old. For those of you who loved and helped him over the years, I thank you. Tom is gone now. He is at peace with the Lord. Thanks be to God. I will miss him all the days of my life.”

A private visitation for the family was held and a memorial service wil be held at a later date.

Fisher Funeral Chapel of Logansport, Indiana oversaw the arrangements and we thank them.
