Beverly J. (Fettig) Vietti

Beverly J. “Becky” Vietti, 86, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on March 28, 1936, in Logansport, Becky is the daughter of the late Frederick and Gladys (Penny) Fettig.  On October 17, 1954, in Logansport, she married John R. Vietti who preceded in death on December 26, 2014.

Becky retired from Barton’s Office Supplies where she was the office manager for over 20 years.

Becky was a member of the former First United Methodist Church in Logansport. She was a devoted wife for 60 years and always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Becky was a great cook and made preparing Sunday and holiday meals look effortless. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed listening to music and was part of a local country dance club with her husband. She was also quite a seamstress and made a lot of her children’s clothes when they were young.

Surviving Becky are two daughters, Gina (Greg) Maxwell, Ft. Wayne; Deanna (Brian) Myers, Fishers; two sons, John A. (Jennifer) Vietti and Dean (Laura) Vietti both of Logansport; seven grandchildren, Christian (Emma) Maxwell, Drew, Madison, Marni and Matthew Myers, Trevor and Tyler Vietti.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Fettig.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Chaplain Rick Faye officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of service on Saturday, also in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Emmaus Mission Center or Cass County Humane Society.
