Carolyn Duckett, 77, of Logansport, passed away Monday evening, April 24, 2023, at Chase Center.
Born May 31, 1945, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lucy C. (Appleton) Dingman.
A dedicated worker, Carolyn was retired from National Friction where she had been employed 22 years.
On August 18, 1973, in Carroll County, she was married to Russell Duckett. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2017.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Rusty Duckett; Logansport, daughter, Tina Duckett, Nappanee; stepchildren, Sherry (Matt) Hall, of Lucerne, and Richard (Wendy) Duckett and Gary (Debbie) Duckett, all of Walkerton; one sister, Ellen (Kerry) Ulery, Walton; one cousin, Sarah Barrett, Logansport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Duckett; stepson, Terry Duckett; aunt, Jane Hanna; and second cousin, Daniel Barrett.
Her family would like to thank the caring staff of Chase Center for the love shown to her the past several years. They affectionately called her “Ducky” and she enjoyed their company.
Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, April 28 at the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport. A funeral service celebrating Carolyn’s life will follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
