Lois Ann (Behny) Henry

Lois Ann Henry, 76, of Galveston, passed away at 7:59 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.  She was born March 25, 1947, in Peru, Indiana to Robert E. Behny Sr. and Annie (Orpurt) Behny.  

Lois graduated from Peru High School in 1965.  She later went to work for General Motors / Delphi in Kokomo and retired with many years’ service.  After retiring from Delphi she became involved with the Galveston Library and was still actively working.  She always looked forward to playing Bunco with a group of friends when they could get together.

Surviving family include her children, Tricia (Don) Eaton, Brian (Penny) Henry.  Grandchildren include, Nathan, Kinsey (Brad), Kelsey, Brady, Bodey, Bailey, Berkley, Alexis, Macy and Ethan.  She is also survived by her siblings, Bobbie (Judy) Bookwalter of Peru; Bob (Jill)  Behny of Anderson; and Sara Ousley of Peru.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and infant son, Dale Eugene Henry.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2023, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Galveston Cemetery.   Memorial contributions may be given to the Galveston Vol. Fire Dept. in Lois’s memory.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
