Michael E. Stephenson, 65, of Walton, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born on November 4, 1957, in Logansport, Mike is the son of the late William Reign and Lucille (Spitznogle) Stephenson. On November 4, 2014, in Logansport, Mike married Andrew Vinson who survives.
Mike was a 1976 graduate of Lewis Cass High School. He was the operations manager for New Holland of Logansport for 48 years. He enjoyed traveling to Key West, a trip to the casino, and stopping every morning to grab a scratch off. Mike enjoyed raising chickens, working in his garden and spending time with his family.
Surviving Mike, along with his husband Andrew, are three children, Lauren (Rob) Williams of Logansport; Aaron Stephenson of Jasper, IN; Henry Vinson of Logansport; seven grandchildren, Ashton Hackman, Cooper Hackman, Claire Stephenson, Jude Williams, Mayla Williams, Ava Williams, and Zayne Scott; two brothers, George (Monica) Stephenson, Chuck (Kelly) Stephenson both of Logansport; five sisters, Lou (Peg Kolka) Stephenson of Logansport; Lynne (Verne Grimes) Stephenson of Peru; Joyce (Nicholas Jr.) Muschong of St. Pete Beach, FL; Billie Stephenson; Claudia Benn both of Logansport; brother in law David Query of Dayton, OH; several nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Stephenson.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
