Elaine C. Combs, 85, of Logansport, formerly of Knox, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning, June 25, 2023, at her home.
Born February 5, 1938, in Knox, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Iva (Silvy) Klampe.
She was married February 20, 1989, to Taylor Combs, Jr., who preceded her in death July 25, 2003.
Surviving are five sons, Jeff Brooke, Steve Brooke, Ed Brooke, Lonnie Brooke and Jimmy Brooke; two stepchildren, Taylor Combs III and Marie Chambers; twin sisters, June Zinn and Margie Camp; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Brooke and her grandson, Eddie Brooke.
A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, June 30, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport.
A memorial service celebrating Elaine’s life will follow at 2 p.m. with Dawn Fisher officiating.
