Marilyn Kay (McNulty) Hile, age 91, passed away Saturday June 3, 2023, in Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL.

Born on March 25, 1932, in Cass County IN to the late Charles and Mary (Fiedler) McNulty. On July 11, 1953, in Cornith, Mississippi she married Paul Dean Hile who preceded in death June 10, 1999.

Marilyn had written an article for the Carroll County Comet for twenty years, she was a former school bus driver and cook at Carrolton School. Marilyn had also done home care for the elderly for several years. She was the first women to be elected to the Board of Directors of the Carroll White REMC, where she served for twenty years and was a faithful member of the Faith Lutheran Church.

Marilyn is survived by two sons, Dana C. (Tracy) Hile, Port Charlotte, FL; Scott (Lisa) Hile, Corydon, IN; two brothers, Fred (Dawn) McNulty, Valparaiso, IN; Mark (Ann) McNulty, Indianapolis, IN; granddaughter, Sarah Brown (Patrick) Gibson; great granddaughters, Harper & Kennedy Gibson; a special niece, Amy McNulty Downham, that would call her every day; several other nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah K. Bradfield and Jayne Lynn Hile, also four brothers, Gene, Carl, Herb and Wayne McNulty.

A visitation will be held from noon until time of services at the church on Friday June 9, 2023

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday June 9, 2023, in the Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Kristen Schmid officiating. A burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery.
