Ruth Ellen Cook, 87, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Chase Center.
Born January 27, 1936 in Forrest, IN she was the daughter of the late William and Garnet (Castle) Bacon.
Ruth retired from General Tire after 45 years of employment
An avid reader, Ruth also enjoyed sewing. She was honored to sew patches on numerous police uniforms over the years. Ruth was a people person who enjoyed bowling with friends and a good game of cards. She loved the beauty of nature, especially while fishing.
She is survived by three daughters, Drew Kistler, Beth (Jim) Musselman, and Stephanie (Wes) Bigger; one son, Mark (Terri) Kistler; brother, Ted (Sue) Orem; four sisters, Carol (Charles) Ply, Charlene Henderson, Eva Dencel, and Fay Charleston; seven grandchildren; Charity Musselman, Jamie Musselman, Chris Kistler, William Kistler, Joshua Kistler, Sean Kistler, and Jacob Bigger; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Daniel Hart, William Bacon, Sandy Hart, and James Orem.
