Beth E. (Clemans) Ciavardoni

Beth Ellen (Clemans) Ciavardoni, 74, North Manchester, formerly of Rochester, passed away early Saturday morning, September 23, 2023, at home, surrounded by her family. She was successfully recovering from a stroke that occurred two months ago, when she accidentally fell a few weeks ago – suffering a brain bleed.

Born August 26, 1949, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Ralph “Spike” and Ellen (McCord) Clemans.

On December 18, 1993, in Logansport, she was married to Robert Ciavardoni. He preceded her in death November 17, 2014.

Beth was a graduate of Caston High School. After many years, Beth retired from the meat-processing facility now known as Smithfield in Peru.

Beth was a member of the former Bethlehem United Methodist Church. A fierce but loving mother and grandmother, Beth was a hard-working woman who loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered fondly for the exceptional candies she made for the holidays. For many years, Beth was the “apple dumpling and pizza lady” and sold her delicious homemade products for folks to enjoy.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Dawn Lopez: son, Brandon Lee Ciavardoni; sisters, Karen (Joseph) Mroz and Liane (David)Hurst; grandchildren, April Jenkins, James (Tierra) Skiles, Dakota Riviera, Dominic Lopez, Johanna Lopez, Azaiah Depalma and Mahlah Ciavardoni; and great-grandchildren, Phoenix Mae Jenkins, Eathan Oliver Jenkins, and Grayson, Cayden and Caitlyn Skiles.

A funeral service celebrating Beth’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 28, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, with Pastor Teri White officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service in the funeral home.

Private burial will be at a later date.
