Richard L. Davidson, age 91, Logansport, passed away at 10:54 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2023, at Cedar Creek of Logansport (formerly McKinney Place), following a long, hard-fought struggle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10th, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with the funeral service immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Cass County.

Richard was born on Wednesday, November 14, 1931, in Cass County, the son of Floyd and Katherine Webster Davidson.

On December 2, 1951, in Logansport, he was married to Joan Hardt, who preceded him in death on July 28, 2018.

“Dick” was a retired Agent for the Prudential Insurance Company. He was a founding member of the Galveston Radio Controlled Fun Flyers, a hobby he enjoyed very much. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, often with grandchildren, and included camping and spending winter months in Florida.

Surviving are a son, Gary (Sue) Davidson, Logansport; daughters, Penny (Alan) Kitson, Warsaw, Lisa (Randy) Baker, Sharon (Brian) Musselman, all of Logansport; brother, Steve (Cynthia) Davidson, Logansport; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandson and a great great granddaughter expected soon.

Richard was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Davidson, daughter, Donna Davidson, and brother, Jim Davidson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Physiocare Hospice, 625 S. Earl Avenue, Lafayette 47904. The family wishes to acknowledge their extraordinary care during his final months.
