Christina A. Titus

Christina A. Titus, born on October 27, 1952, in Logansport, peacefully passed away in her residence on October 30, 2023, surrounded by family. She was the beloved daughter of Charles Kirkham and Ida (Starkey) Wood. Christina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

On July 28, 1969, Christina married the love of her life, Steve E. Titus, he preceded in death on June 11, 2007. They shared a lifetime of memories and devotion to each other.

Christina was a graduate of Logansport High School.  She took great pride in keeping her yard pristine, canning food, fishing and taking care of her beloved dog, Ruby.  Most important to her were her grandchildren, she cherished the time that she spent with them, especially during family Christmas’s at her house.

Christina leaves behind a legacy of love and a family who cherished her deeply. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Richard) Cool of Royal Center, IN; two sons, Lawrence Titus of Warsaw, IN, and Steve E. (Angie) Titus II of Logansport, IN. She was the doting grandmother of six grandsons: Steven Mundy of Logansport, IN, Bradly (Alix) Titus of Logansport, IN, Kyle (Shannon) Titus of Amboy, IN, Levi (Haily) Titus of Wabash, IN, and Trevor Titus of Walton, IN; Tristan (Malaina Steele) Lough, of Logansport. She also leaves behind three granddaughters: Christie Mundy of Royal Center, IN, Emmy (Cory) Wang of Wolcott, IN, and Morgan Vail of Logansport, IN. Christina was blessed to be a great-grandmother to eleven beautiful children.

She is also survived by her three sisters: Rose Cook of Walton, IN, Shirley Lynch of Logansport, IN, and Ida Murray of Monticello, IN. Christina had several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Christina was preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Ann Titus; as well as her sisters, Charolotte DuBois, Priscilla DuBois, Kathy Taylor, Brenda Booth, and her brother, Charles “Chuck” Kirkham.

Christina will be remembered for her unwavering love, boundless compassion, and the legacy of family she leaves behind. Her warm smile and caring spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

A visitation will be held from noon, until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
