Kenneth “Kenny” Scott

Kenneth “Kenny” Scott, 55. Logansport, died unexpectedly in his sleep Sunday night, October 1, 2023, at home.

Born November 29, 1967, in Plymouth, Indiana, he was the son of Linda (Norem) Dilts and the late DeVon E. Scott.

Kenny was a 1986 graduate of Pioneer High School, He was employed as a steel worker with Matthew-Warren for over 30 years.

In 2008, Kenny not only survived a massive heart attack, he vowed that he would run in the YMCA Turkey Trot at Thanksgiving the following year. His brush with death gave him a new outlook and he spent the past 15 years living life to the fullest. He loved being outdoors, especially when it came to fishing and off-roading.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Paul Dilts; his children, Kam (Kristin) Scott, and Kenzey (Francene) Scott; his companion, Brandie Osborn; brothers, DeVon “Bub” (Marcy) Scott, Jr., Ray (Betsy) Scott; sisters, Faye Scott, Traci (Lee) Goudy; and five grandchildren,

Kenlyn, Keaton, Kyeson, Kennedy, and Maverick.

In addition to his father, Kenny was preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn Norem.

Friends will be received from 3 – 5 p.m. Friday, October 6 at the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana.

A funeral service celebrating Kenny’s life will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Kelly Spencer officiating.
