Dale A. Baker, 84, of Galveston, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.
Born on September 9, 1939, in VanBurean Township, Pulaski County, Indiana, Dale is the son of the late Earl Hugh and Bessie Blanche (Murray) Baker.
Dale worked as a carpenter for Reed Construction.
Surviving Dale are four daughters, Rochelle (Ken) Templeton of Mesick, MI; Sheryl Baker of Lafayette, IN; Cynthia Howell of Lafayette, IN; Paula Jo Baker of Lafayette, IN; son, David (Angie) Baker of Galveston, IN; Step Daughter, Rachel Whittaker of Royal Center, IN; Step Son, Alex (Theresa) Sortman of Logansport, IN; 14-grandchildren;14-great grandchildren; and married, for 25 years, to Paula Baker, of Lafayette, IN.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Snyder officiating. A burial will follow at the Grass Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Thursday, also in the funeral home.
