Raymond Eugene Henry, 93, of Logansport, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023, in his residence.
Raymond was born December 30, 1929, in Logansport to the late George and Nannie (Handy) Henry.
After graduating from Logansport High School, Raymond enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country from 1949-1951.
Raymond was married to Jean Alice Dearinger, who she preceded him in death in 1998.
A lifelong Christian, he was a member of Baptist Christian Church of Royal Center for over 30 years, and more recently joined The First Church of the Nazarene in Logansport.
Prior to his retirement, Raymond worked at K-Mart.
Raymond is survived by his three sons, Michael (Sheri) Henry of Sebring, FL, Kevin (Susan) Henry of Logansport, George Robert Henry of Logansport; one brother, John Henry of Logansport; seven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Barry Henry; a daughter, Tina Dishmon; brothers, George Henry Jr., Albert Henry, sisters, Bernice Swigart, Dorothia Ellison; and two grandsons, Chris and Matthew Henry.
A funeral service celebrating Raymond’s life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to the service, starting 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Ever Rest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to Baptist Christian Church of Royal Center or Logansport First Church of the Nazarene.
