Beverly J. Hayden

Beverly J. Hayden, 89, of Logansport passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in her residence.

Born on June 14, 1934, Beverly is the daughter of the late Harry D. and Beulah (Stephens) Cotner. On August 8, 1952, in Logansport she married Donald E. Hayden who preceded in death on November 19, 2010.

Over the years, Don and Beverly loved hosting family holiday gatherings and traveling together. They frequently visited Tennessee, Missouri, and Las Vegas. Beverly loved visiting the Casino, and playing Bingo, shopping, yard sales, and visiting with friends and family. Beverly also dearly loved her 13 ½ year old dog, Goldie, who recently passed away. She took Goldie with her everywhere, even to Walmart.

To know Beverly, was to love her. She never knew a stranger and would often make new friends while out. She loved and cherished her family and would do anything for anyone. As the Matriarch of the family, she was always there to keep the family in line and to bring everyone together. She was so proud of all her grandkids and would be quick to show off photos of them all.

Surviving Beverly is a daughter, Carolyn Hayden; four sons, Tom (Anita) Hayden; Mike Hayden; Gary Hayden and Ronnie Hayden, all of Logansport; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her sister, Janet Hunt, and brother Robert Cotner, both of Logansport.

In addition to her husband and parents, Beverly was preceded in death by, a sister, Delores Minglin and her husband Bill Minglin; a brother-in-law, Nolan Hunt; and a grandson, Michael Lee Hayden Jr.
