Deborah S. Parson, 70, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly, Friday morning, December 8, 2023, in her home.

Born February 19, 1953, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Alice Overhoff. She graduated from high school in Terre Haute.

On October 14, 1996, in Las Vegas, she was married to Jerry Parson, who survives.

Deborah had the gift of hospitality and made everyone feel at home throughout her career as a waitress. Working mainly in Kokomo Hacienda, she had served at Capitan’s Cove, Pizza Hut and Cracker Barrel.

Surviving with her husband of over 27 years is one son, Lee Lowe; siblings, Fred (Lori) Overhoff, Robin Wood, and Linda Overhoff; two grandchildren, Alijah (Horacio) Gonzalez, Jace Rist; two great-grandbabies who she adored, Orabella Azpeitia, Mireya Gonzalez; Aunt, Verda Hall, and several other aunt and uncles.

She was preceded in death by two children, Danielle Lowe and Scott Lowe.

A funeral service celebrating Deborah’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 12 at the Fisher Funeral Chapel with Dawn Fisher officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial, at a later date, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
