Debra L. Hipsher

Debra L. Hipsher, 68, of Peru, passed away December 22, 2023 at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on July 31, 1955, in Lafayette, Indiana, Debra is the daughter of the late Elmer and Janet (Lambert) Adamson. On September 14, 1991, in Monticello, Indiana, Debra married Christopher Hipsher who survives.

Debra enjoyed cooking, especially shrimp fettuccini, peach cobbler and cherry delight. She attended Solid Rock Ministries in Kokomo and liked to listen to Christian music. She was a wonderful wife to Chris for 32 years of marriage. Most important to Debra, was the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Surviving Debra, along with her husband, is a son, Patrick (Robyn) Stark Jr. of Remington; Amber (Greg) Allison of Zionsville; Tara (Rod) Grimes of Ft. Wayne; Siera (Nick) Cannon of Irvington; Chris (Nikki) Hipsher of Twelve Mile; Monica (Mike Landis) Hipsher of Logansport; 16 grandchildren; three sisters, Sandy Stoller of Remington; Rita Cobb of Illinois; and Marcia Bell of Oregon.

Debra was preceded in death by a brother, James Adamson.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Manis officiating.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday.
