Irvin Lee Kesling

Last Updated on December 26, 2023 by Fisher Funeral Chapel

Irvin Kesling, 94, Kokomo, passed away Saturday night, December 23, 2023, in the Howard Regional Healthcare System in Kokomo.

A Cass County native having grown up in the Onward area then later, the Royal Center area, Irv was perhaps best-known for importing llamas and alpacas to the United States. He had owned and opened one of the first RV camper dealerships in the Midwest – the Kokomo Trailer Mart.  Irv grew up with a strong work ethic and the drive to succeed. Whether it be serving in the Navy during the Korean War, raising bantam chickens, exotic pets or RV’s – he made it look easy while his hands told the story of his hard work and character. He wasn’t afraid to roll his sleeves up and work!

A complete obituary will be published soon.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 8, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

The funeral service celebrating Irv’s life will follow at 1 p.m.

Burial, with full military honors, will be in Shiloh Christian Cemetery.
