Baker announces reelection bid for Cass County Commissioner

Cass County Commissioner Ruth Baker has announced her bid for reelection on the Republican party in 2024.
“I have enjoyed being Commissioner, representing the citizens of Cass County being immersed in the day-to-day operations of the county, working with various individuals, serving on different committees, and I would be honored to continue serving in this capacity.
I hope that I have made a difference for the betterment in the lives of the citizens of Cass County and would appreciate your support in the primary and general elections.”
Baker lives north of Logansport and represents Cass County District 1. She is married to Rob Baker and they are fifth generation farmers of Cass County. They are the parents of three children who were raised in Harrison Township and they have three grandchildren. She is a retired teacher and is a member of Lucerne Zion Church, a Precinct Committeeman, Cass County Republican Women’s, the Cass County Area Retired Teachers Association, Lucerne Lions Club, Royal Center Order of Eastern Star, and a lifetime member of the NRA. She has served on the Harrison Township Advisory, United Way Board of Directors, and Logansport Rose Society.
