Charlotte Ingram Sibley, 95, of Indianapolis formerly of Logansport passed away peacefully at 12:22 a.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at I.U. West Hospital in Avon.
Born on September 1, 1928 in Cass County, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha Ann (Binney) Hoover.
She was a 1946 Lucerne High School graduate.
Charlotte retired from Galen McVay Insurance and Area Five. She enjoyed sewing, working in her garden in her younger years and also enjoyed writing poetry and won multiple Editor’s Choice Awards from the International Library of Poetry.
Survivors include her children, William Ingram of Burnettsville, Linda Hartz (James) of Indianapolis, Bonnie Suetterlin of Marshalltown, Iowa, Joseph Ingram (Lisa) of Indianapolis, Monica Simmons (Ralph) of Lincoln and Mary Ingram (Steven Longenecker) of Logansport, step son, Jessie “Jay” Sibley (Gail) of Indianapolis and step daughter, Roberta Luce of Logansport. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene Ingram and Jessie Sibley, Sr., daughter in law, Theresa Ingram, son in law, Kenneth Suetterlin, grandchildren, Gregg Hartz and Mitchell Willetts and sisters, Leona Bookwalter, Lydia Smith, Florece Hileman and Helen Young.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Lucerne.
