Clyde Lewis

Clyde Lewis, 91, of Logansport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on July 14, 1932, in Fulton County, Indiana, Clyde is the son of the late Alton Lee and Martha Washington (McGraw) Lewis.  On September 15, 1962, in Cass County, IN, Clyde married Mary Jane Prather who survives.

Clyde had worked forty years and retired from Logansport Machine Company. Clyde was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving Clyde along with his wife, Jane, are three daughters, Melissa (Mark) Holley; Claudia Hayden (Mike Bennett); Jennifer (Ralph) Koppe, all of Logansport; two sons, Michael (Valerie) Lewis of Beaverton, OR; Kerry Lewis of Logansport; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.

A private family entombment will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday January 29, 2024, at Caple’s Bar and Grill, 113 W. Center Ave, Royal Center, IN 46978
