LuAnne Baer Graves, 64, of Logansport passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at her home.

Born on December 30, 1959 in Logansport, she was the daughter of Herbert and Barbara (Hershberger) Baer.

She was a former Residency Program Coordinator for 20+ years at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, Texas.

LuAnne was a woman of many interests, especially when it involved reading, crafting, cooking, and baking. She loved reading crime and detective novels, and anything that could bring on a good laugh.

There wasn’t a craft she found that she wasn’t going to attempt- why buy the item you’re trying to make for $50 when you can spend $300 in craft supplies and do it yourself. She was one of the best cooks around, and if you and 45 of your friends needed dinner she had plenty to spare and then some. She had always loved baking, and had many attempts that could have been put on Nailed It (an expectations vs reality cooking show). She kept at it and did get better, once she did, any time a birthday cake, graduation cake, or baby shower cake was needed she was there with some beautiful cakes for life long memories.

Survivors include her daughter, Austyn Johnson (Kyle) of Baytown, Texas, mother, Barbara Baer of Logansport, brothers, Jeffrey Baer (Teresa) of Logansport, Gary Baer of Logansport, Greg Baer of Logansport and Brian Baer (Billy Jo) of Logansport, companion, Ron Eskildsen and special friend, Ray Ramos, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Baer and sister in law, Debra Baer.

There will be no service at this time.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family via the Rans Funeral Homes website.
