Marjorie Ann Price, 88, of Logansport, passed away at Woodbridge Health Campus on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
Born April 29, 1935, in Howard County, she was the daughter of the late Omar and Margaret (Merrell) Smith.
On November 21, 1962, in the former 9th Street Christian Church, she was married to George E. Price, who survives.
Marjorie was a 1953 graduate of Northwestern High School.
For many years, she worked for Grissom Federal Credit Union. She had previously worked in the office of the Bodinson Insurance Company and had also worked for Switches.
Marjorie had been a member of the former 9th Street Christian Church and had attended Onward Christian Church. She was also a member of Delta Theta Chi sorority. She was an avid reader who enjoyed author Danielle Steel. Her favorite hobby was quilting, and her handiwork was beautiful.
Surviving with her husband is her son, Jeffrey (Dawn) Price, of Middlebury, IN; her brother, Jerry Smith; and two grandchildren, Joseph Ellis Price, and Katelyn (Kelly) Amaizo..
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne, William, and Arthur “Dean” Smith and one sister, Mary Jane Scott.
A funeral service celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 22 in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
