Pamela Jo Lantz, 63.Winamac, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, in Northwest Health Hospital, LaPorte, from respiratory failure.

Born February 25, 1960, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Curtis) Patterson.

On May 18, 1998, in the Logansport Eagles Lodge, she was married to Ronnie L. Lantz, who survives.

Pam was a graduate of DeVry Institute where she studied medical coding and billing. For many years, the Indiana Beach Campground was her life, not only for recreational time spent camping with her family – she also worked in the office.

An avid pull-tab and bingo player, Pam was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching Hallmark Christmas movies. In addition to camping, she loved to fish. Her family was first and foremost in her life and she was head-over-hills in love with her great-grandbabies.

Surviving with her husband of 26 years, Ronnie, are her children, Mari (Aaron) Monical, and Jamie Hardy, all of Logansport; her siblings, Marvin (Cindy) Seward, Jeffrey (Joyce) Seward, Danny (Gloria) Seward, Julie Rikard, Sheila (Dave) Whiteman, and Michelle McCann; grandchildren, Braxton Hardy, Isaiah Hardy, Bradlee Roe, Kelsie Roe, Ryan Monical, Liam Buel, Rylan Kendall, Jessalynn Hardy and Madison Hardy; and four great-grandchildren plus one on-the-way.

She was preceded in death by three siblings, Kenny, Willajean and Norma Jean Seward. 

Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. Friday, January 26 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Road, Logansport A funeral service celebrating Pamela’s life will follow at 3 p.m. Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with Pam’s final expenses.
