Barbara Ruth Michael, 83, of Logansport, while surrounded by her daughters, was welcomed into Heaven, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Born on July 24, 1940, in Fulton County, Indiana, Barbara is the daughter of the late Louis E. and Louise (Windbigler) Kelly. On September 30, 2017, Barbara remarried Kenneth E. Michael who survives.
Barbara had worked for Marshall Electric and Tippy Pack. She was a member of Main Street Community Church and enjoyed butterflies, collecting photos and spending time with her family. She loved talking on the phone and was known for her sense of humor and storytelling. Barbara especially enjoyed the time she spent with her Snay family.
Surviving Barbara are two daughters, Jeanie (Greg) Brooke of Mentone, IN, Robin (Chuck) Zoubul of Peru, IN; son, Kevin (Debbie) Blocher of Eagle Rock, VA; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four brothers, Paul Kelly, Jim (Debbie) Kelly, Doug Kelly, Brian Kelly; three sisters, Jean Kelly, Janet Kelly, Evelyn Barton; step daughter, Kim (Scott) Piercy of AZ; and several nieces and nephews who all loved her.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cheryl Bell, three sisters, Patricia Johnson, Elaine Alderfer and Mary Downs.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday.
Memorials will be made to Main Street Community Church in Logansport.
