Brittani J. Riley, age 33, Peru, passed away at 4:15 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, in her residence.

Born May 12, 1990, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of and Misti Smith, Peru, and Scott Hunter, Logansport. Her biological father is Anthony Brant, surviving in Alabama.

Brittani had been employed at Thermal Shipping Solutions. She enjoyed warm weather and being outdoors, but especially “thrifting”.

Surviving are Scott Hunter and Angel Scripter, Logansport; daughter, Laci Smith; brothers, Ethan Hunter, Levi Hunter (Jordyn Brewer), Austin Sammons, Ayron Hunter, Michael Hunter; sisters, Audra (John) Gourley, Liza Layton, Alexis (Bryce) Schultz, Kayla Seekell; nieces, Willow, Aspen, Cooper, Remi; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are a maternal grandfather, Frank (Nancy) Smith; maternal step-grandfather, Leroy Langley; and paternal grandmother, Sue Hunter.

Preceding in death are a brother, “Alyc” Phoenix Ashton Henderson-Vigil; sister, Korin Rinaldo; paternal grandfather, Bill Hunter; and maternal grandmother, Sue Langley.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 8th, in the chapel at Mount Hope Cemetery. The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday at the cemetery.

Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
