Republican candidates for Indiana governor to debate March 26, March 27 and April 23, 2024

Voters will have a chance to hear from candidates hoping to become the Republican nominee for Indiana governor during televised debates on the following days:

MARCH 26, 2024

FOX59 and CBS4 will broadcast 2024’s first live televised debate of the Republican candidates for governor, hosted by Nexstar Media Group.

The one-hour debate will air at 7 p.m. on March 26 from the FOX59/CBS4 studios in Indianapolis. The debate will be broadcast live throughout the state.

MARCH 27, 2024

The “All Indiana Politics Special: The GOP Governor’s Debate” will be held Wednesday, March 27 at 6:30pm at the historic Madam Walker Legacy Center in downtown Indianapolis.

The debate will air live on WISH-TV and the WISH-TV Statewide TV News Network, plus stream live on WISHTV.com and the WISH-TV app.

APRIL 23, 2024

The Indiana Debate Commission will host a live televised debate among six candidates seeking the Republican gubernatorial nomination. The event is scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. EDT April 23, 2024.

The candidates will answer questions before a live audience at Hine Hall Auditorium, 875 W. North St., Indianapolis, on the IUPUI campus.

The Indiana Debate Commission is a nonpartisan, statewide group of affiliate organizations dedicated to promoting debates at the state level. The commission works with candidates, sponsors, venues, media and citizen groups to promote open, unbiased and transparent debates for Hoosier voters.

Primary Election Day is Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

You can register to vote online by visiting http://www.indianavoters.com/.  Indiana residents with a valid Indiana driver’s license or Indiana state-issued identification card will be able to use this tool to submit a new voter registration application or to update an existing voter registration record.

In addition to registering to vote online, http://www.indianavoters.com/ provides Hoosiers with the ability to validate their voter registration status, find their polling place location, look into their provisional ballot status information, find county contact information, and determine “Who’s on My Ballot?” for an upcoming election.

To register to vote or update your current registration by mail or in person, you will need to complete and return the  Voter Registration Form (En Español) On or before April 8, 2024 before the 2024 Primary Election.
